I’ve been catching them consistently in the winter for almost 20 years and I feel like winter bluegill fishing can be better at times than spring bluegill fishing. I’ve been done bluegill fishing in 45 minutes in the winter because I had a cooler full already. And I’m not sure there is more fun to be had on 2-pound line and an ultralight rod.
