Hi William. I have been using the amber lens for the longest time with the blue mirror over it for a long time. But the past several months I have been using their new to be released low light OX2 lens. It's a yellow base with a neutral mirror over it. It lets me look better into shaded areas, on overcast days and early and late and still works in the middle of a sunny day too.
That's a giant for sure. My biggest was 2-13. Still hunting that elusive 3 pounder. I had one this spring that went almost 14 inches but it was end of life so it barely weighed 2 pounds.
Thank you for checking it out. I will say I have learned more in the last 18 days of chasing red ear (only about 8 actually fishing) than I have before that. I have finally peaced together a lot of their puzzle and even finding some summer feeding ranges now.
Great article. Can you tell me what color lenses you use from Island Optic?
Great. Thank you very much.
